On June 26th, Antonio Lenzo, on behalf of the USI team — Antonio Lenzo, Adine Gavazzi and Lorenzo Cantoni —, presented a paper on “Hermitage and Digital Storytelling: Monte San Giorgio as a Case Study for Sustainable Visitorship” at the 16th International Conference on Religious Tourism and Pilgrimage (IRTP) in Palermo, Italy.

The intervention, shared with an audience of sector academics in religious heritage studies, discussed hermitage as a source of inspiration for digital storytelling and the pivotal role of storytelling related to hermitage practices in fostering of sustainable tourism practice.
