On June 12, 2025, the Bibracte team took part in the annual meeting of the French-speaking Faro Network, held in Clermont-Ferrand (France).
Around twenty French partners—including cultural centers, local authorities, and associations—came together, all united by the shared values of the Faro Convention. The day served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections among members and to:
- Reflect on the development and momentum of the French-speaking Faro Network;
- Exchange news and share ongoing initiatives;
- Discuss future challenges and prospects for the network.
The meeting was facilitated by Francesc Pla Castelltort, from the Culture and Cultural Heritage Division of the Council of Europe.
During the session, Bibracte presented the SECreTOUR program and introduced the consortium’s research objectives to the participants. Having joined this informal network a few months ago (the network itself was established one year prior), Bibracte is now actively contributing to its development. Plans are already underway to host the next annual meeting at Bibracte in 2026.
