Moskovská Primary school and the project team at Matej Bel University (UMB) are joining forces for experiential learning. The aim is to establish collaboration and align joint activities within two projects currently being implemented by UMB in this field: the Horizon Europe project SECreTour and the EU NextGenerationEU project Mining Treasures (Banícke poklady).

As part of the planned cooperation, the school could serve as an active partner in designing and testing new educational activities, including experiential learning in the field and interactive workshops, which will later be offered to other schools in the Banská Bystrica region.

In addition a new initiative "School on the Barbora Route" a unique outdoor learning environment, is being launched by the Barbora route civic association – Terra Montanae. The initiative will bring educational activities direclty to the Barbora Route in the central Slovak mining region. The programme is being offered to school groups who will follow in the footsteps of miners and gain an understanding of the regions’s cultural, historical and natural heritage.
