Arqus European Identity & Heritage Living Lab
Elena Correa has participated in Workshop “Living Lab Heritage & Society” at the University of Minho, which has taken place in Extremo (Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal), as part of the Arqus European Identity & Heritage Living Lab
During the workshop, Elena Correa led a session on:
Territorial intervention through Community Archaeology
Tools for participatory governance
Recovery of historic irrigation systems
Participants also engaged in a collaborative mapping exercise, collecting local ecological knowledge on traditional irrigation systems, with the aim of developing proposals to protect and promote the rural heritage of the area.
