On February 12th 2025, the USI team gave a workshop presentation at the 2025 Winter School in Digital Media for Island Tourism, hosted by the University of Madeira. Titled “Heritage at the crossroads. Nature vs. Culture and Tangible vs. Intangible. The case of Monte San Giorgio,” the presentation discussed the Monte San Giorgio pilot beyond dichotomies, embracing the diversity of manifestations of the interaction between humankind and its natural environment. A rich Q&A with the audience, constituted of academics and students across global institutions, situated it within the proceedings of the School.
